Richard Argo

Chesapeake & Ohio in Columbus (HO)

Dick models the C&O Railroad in Columbus – a railroad he actually worked for when he was a young man.  Most of the industries were actual companies switched by the C&O but a few are fictitious and named for good friends.

In addition to two yards, this round the room shelf layout features the Ohio State Penitentiary – definitely a unique facet of this great layout.  The layout also features numerous sections of hand laid track.  Photos of several scenes from this layout have been featured in RMC in recent years.

This layout was built with operations in mind and features Digitrax DCC.
